I’m not a big holiday guy. The end of the year is especially stressful. Mostly holidays are about bullshit marketing and retail sales. New Years is no different. Watch the rush of people at 24 Hour Fitness as they get a jump on their get in shape and loose weight goals. Give ‘em a week, they’ll be gone and it will be back to normal.
Therefore, I don’t do resolutions or anything else that smacks of saying a bunch of shit you aren’t going to follow through with. But then sitting around saying well it’s all bull so I won’t do anything. I’ll just be the same piece of crap I was last year; that’s not very smart either.
So, I’m thinking about some things I would like to accomplish next year. Things I would like to aquire next year. A way I would like to be next year. Am I falling into a trap? Maybe. Will I be there January 1 at 24 Hour Fitness….Yes. Fuck.
